Cheap Whiskey and Dirty Jokes March Edition
Comedy! Our monthly comedy event in March features Jill Silva, Jeremiah Coughlan and Llyn Marks. Plus local comedian Clarke McMakin. Jill Silva is a comedian currently residing in Tacoma, WA, which is pretty much the Brooklyn of Seattle but please don't tell anyone. Her comedy has been called "a charm", "loud" and "sometimes dry." She's featured in Baltimore's XFest, Seattle's Intersections Fest, LA's Laugh Riot Greek Fest and NYC's Devil Cup. She co-produces two comedy gems of Destiny City: Bob's Comedy Jive and Laughing Mater. When she's not out bothering businesses to put up comedy show posters, she's bothering people on stage. Jeremiah Coughlan is a comedian. A comedian who physically resembles what would happen if Chris Farley ate Bob Ross. His stage presence embodies some of the same traits. He is an imperfect mix of chaos and control. In what can seem paradoxical, Jeremiah carries a calm and contented demeanor in to his high energy and surprisingly athletic stage performances. Although he still hasn’t figured out how to complete a painting in 30-minutes. With his candid, conversational brand of self-deprecating humor, Jeremiah has become a regular performer at clubs all over the Northwest, including Helium Comedy Club. He has been featured on Audible’s comedy series “Sounds Like America” and performed all over the country and internationally at festivals including The Idaho Laugh Festival, The SF Sketchfest, Crom Comedy Festival, The Big Pine Comedy Festival, The North Carolina Comedy Fest, The Savage Henry Comedy Festival, and The 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival where he was nominated as “Best of the Fest” by the festival’s organizers.
