Earth from Space/Space from Home
Earth from Space is a U.S. Geological Survey and Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service project that explores how satellite images reveal structures and patterns on the earth’s surface that have never been seen before. Space from Home tells the story of Jay Hardin, an amateur astronomer who spent 40 years exploring the skies with his homemade telescopes from his home on the shore of Baker Bay.
