How can small businesses keep up with, and find the time to manage their social media effectively? This class will cover the changes, updates and functionality of each platform, and students will learn how to determine which will work best for their particular business. In a world of mass marketing and noise, proper use of social media can help you talk directly to clients when they are in the market for your product.
This class will highlight changes in social media platforms like:
-Facebook's Instant Articles
-Facebook target marketing
-Instagram contests
-Twitter and Twitter leads
-LinkedIn: Marketing, groups, jobs and business pages
-Content management and time-saving tricks
This class is designed for business owners with established accounts on Facebook.
Presenter: Misty Lambrecht is the Oregon Coast Community College SBDC Small Business Management Program coordinator, and is also involved in helping small businesses with social media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
