Navigating the Oregon Equal Pay Act Seminar - Astoria
Lower Columbia Human Resources Management Association proudly presents "Navigating the Oregon Equal Pay Act" with Jean Roque, founder and president of Trupp.
Oregon Equal Pay Act's provisions will have been in full effect since January 1, 2019. The law is quite extensive in its requirements aimed at preventing employers from conducting inequitable pay practices for employees in protected classes.
While many employers may believe their practices are equitable, the Oregon Equal Pay Act introduces a degree of complexity and risk that relies on a robust process for identifying work of comparable character and assessing employee pay equity.
This session will inform attendees on key aspects of the law, lessons Trupp has learned from performing equal pay analyses, along with steps employers should be taking to comply with the Oregon Equal Pay Act and ensure pay practices support ongoing compliance.
