Public Open House for Astoria Watershed Forest Practices
The City of Astoria Public Works Department is inviting the public to drop by for an informational open house about Astoria’s watershed forest practices and learn more about the upcoming ridge line combination timber harvest within the Bear Creek Watershed property. Bid solicitations are currently underway for this timber harvest.
Citizens are encouraged to attend the public open house to have their questions answered and to become more informed about the City’s general timber harvest practices as well as specific details about the upcoming timber harvest.
