Position Title: On-call Residential Advisor
Schedule: On-call as needed; afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends.
Hourly Wage: $13.00/hour
Brief Job Duties:
As an on-call Residential Advisor, you will provide guidance and encouragement for students to achieve a positive attitude and the behavior needed to accomplish their goals and objectives as they participate in our outstanding job training program.
· Direct and assist with dorm activities and dorm competitions as designated by supervisor.
· Help students deal with the daily stresses of dorm living and enlighten them to the perks of it.
· Prepare documentation including accountability of students and an activity log. Patrol and monitor dorm and grounds.
Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of work experience in counseling, social work, rehabilitation, security, law enforcement, or vocational guidance, or verified voluntary experience. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required. Valid driver’s license in the state of residence with an acceptable driving record.
