About Us
Clatsop CASA recruits, trains and support community volunteers to act as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) on behalf of abused and neglected children who are in the child welfare system. A CASA meets regularly with the child and investigates the child's circumstances in order to make recommendations to the court based on the child's best interests. CASAs also advocate for needed services for the child while the child is in the state's care.
