About Us

Sunset Empire Transportation District provides daily public transit services throughout the scenic coastal region. Park your car and ride on the bus, the views and sights are spectacular…even if you’re a local.

All Sunset Empire Transportation District busses are handicap accessible and have bike racks. Seamless connecting transit services are available through a partnership with the Northwest Oregon Transit Alliance or “Connector” linking bus services from Portland to Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach, and Manzanita south to Yachats. Safe reliable transit services and friendly staff are available to assist riders with their transportation needs. Daily service available except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
