DESCRIPTION:WATER MUSIC FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 40TH ANNIVERSARY\n\n\n\nThe iconic Water Music Festival\, bringing the best in classical\, jazz and other beloved genres of music to the Long Beach Peninsula since 1985\, celebrates 40 years on October 18\, 2025. \n\n\n\nThe "Broadway Lights" Ensemble will entertain concertgoers with the best loved music from a variety of Broadway shows\, including Phantom of the Opera\, West Side Story\, Sound of Music\, and much more.   Soprano Kari Burgess\, tenor David Gustafson\, pianist John Jantzi\, and additional instrumentalists will delight concertgoers with their Broadway arrangements\, complete with some appropriate staging and dress. \n\n\n\nTasty appetizers will be served during the social hour.  Coffee\, tea and water will be offered\, along with a no-host wine bar to include a special anniversary beverage.   A lovely anniversary cake will be served for dessert during the intermission.   Additionally\, attendees will have the opportunity to win special prizes.  Sweatshirts\, with a new\, artistically crafted design to celebrate 40 years\, will be available to purchase.  \n\n\n\nThe festivities will be held at the Chinook Event Center in Chinook.  Social hour commences at 2 p.m.\, concert at 3 p.m.  During the social hour and at the intermission\, attendees will delight to the fabulous artistry of the Ilwaco High School jazz band and two incredibly talented high school vocalists\, all of whom will perform Broadway classics in keeping with the concert theme.  \n\n\n\nIt's an afternoon of music not to be missed!
