DESCRIPTION:Remember the days of standing in line for your turn to vote at your local precinct? Though the lines could be long\, there was an excitement in the air because you were there with your neighbors\, each and every one of you exercising our most important American right....your right to vote. \n\n\n\nIn Oregon\, we have universal mail-in voting. It's admittedly a better system that increases turnout\, builds in safety and security\, and ensures that every vote is counted. But we miss out on that sense of community\, of standing with your neighbors to exercise that fundamental right. And another thing...you don't get that little sticker that told everyone\, "I Voted". \n\n\n\nSo\, let's take a moment to celebrate the act of voting as a community of voters. Join me at Brut on Tuesday\, October 27th from 4-6 pm (Brut will be open normal hours of 3-9pm). Show a photo of yourself dropping off your ballot and get $1off a glass of wine or beer and get a very cool "I Voted" Sticker! \n\nThis isn't an event to argue local or national politics it's just a time to come together and celebrate community and our right to vote.  Cheers!
