DESCRIPTION:Macbeth\, Shakespeare's classic tragedy\, opens at the Ten Fifteen Theater on September 15th for a two weekend run. In this new adaptation\, director Sam Dinkowitz has cut the run time to roughly 100 minutes\, using only ten actors. Modern technological elements and incorporation of current events create a new spin on the familiar tale of power and ambition.\n\n\n\nPerformances are September 15\, 16\, 21\, 22\, and 23 at 7:30pm and September 17th at 3:30pm.\n\n\n\nAbout the show: Three witches tell the Scottish general Macbeth that he will be King of Scotland. Encouraged by his wife\, Macbeth kills the king\, becomes the new king\, and kills more people out of paranoia.
