DESCRIPTION:Established in 2015\, OBT2 is composed of talented dancers\, chosen from the most gifted students at the top levels of the Oregon Ballet Theatre School. On the cusp of a professional career\, these dancers will perform a gorgeously curated collection of excerpts from iconic classical and contemporary ballets\, including Claire de Lune from OBT Resident Choreographer Nicolo Fonte's Beasts\, a compilation of joyful and energetic pieces choreographed by the Danish Master August Bournonville\, as well as works by Marius Petipa\, and Nacho Duato. Together\, the works will explore ballet's rich and varied history.
