SUMMARY:Peninsula Arts Association's Fall Open Studio Tour
DESCRIPTION:Artist studios and work places from Ilwaco to Oysterville will be open\, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to meet a wide variety of artists and craftspeople in their studios\, some of which are only open to the public during this event. The studio tour promotes awareness and appreciation of the arts within the community and gives visitors a chance to meet the artists and observe them at work.\n\nThe self-guided event is FREE and family-friendly. Learn from the artists how they create\, the source of their inspiration\, and even why they create. See the techniques of wheel-thrown pottery\, clay sculpture\, iris folding\, fabric arts\, photography\, oil and acrylic painting\, as well as other disciplines. You will see original artwork being created\, and can ask questions directly of the artists. Artwork will be available for purchase and delicious refreshments will be available at each venue.\n\nThe 2019 participating artisans are: Karen Brownlee\, Catherine Clark\, Charlene Conner\, Carol Couch\, Judy Cox\, Connie Criess\, Dierdre Duewel\, Mary Halvorson\, Cathy Hamilton\, Coral Hughes\, Bette Lu Krause\, Luisa Mack\, Linda Marsh\, Gloria Martin\, Don Perry\, Marie Powell\, Lestia Price\, Sue Raymond\, Diana Thompson\, Jim Unwin\, JoAnne Webster\, Andrea Weir\, and Eric Wiegardt.
