This autobiographical, original work, shares Marco Davis? journey of growing up gay in a small, rural town. Featuring original music composed by Skyler Butenshon, a three piece live band, and a Greek chorus of dancers, this is the most anticipated show of the Ten Fifteen Productions? 2025 season. This production is sponsored by the Lower Columbia Q Center, who will partner with the theater on a community discussion following the June 8th performance.
About the Show:
Do you ever get that burning desire? A longing to have wings and soar upon the wind singing the song of freedom? AGAIN! The Act of Perfection is an autobiographical, one act, one man quasi musical that takes the viewer on a journey, which could be anyone?s journey. Well, anyone that happens to have grown up as a closeted Catholic boy trying to find his place in the world.
Utilizing a Greek chorus representing the various voices of influence along the way, a few backup dancers, and a musician; the script flows and dances as the coming of age story of a young gay man unfolds with the landscape shifting and expanding along the way.
