Join us for a guided 45-minute seated meditation focused on cultivating mindfulness and awareness of our mortality with artist and end-of-life doula, Dardinelle Troen.
This is part of a partnership program, Thanatopsis - Contemplations on Death, Grief, and Renewal, presented by the Royal Nebeker Gallery at Clatsop Community College and Astoria Visual Arts (AVA), September 21 - October 22 featuring an art exhibition at the Royal Nebeker Gallery, four workshops at AVA, and accompanying public events. Community members are invited to attend all events to reflect on mortality, grief, healing, and the shared experience of loss. All events and workshops are free thanks in part to funding from Oregon Humanities with support from Meyer Memorial Trust.
