Astoria Lions Charities, Inc. Announces its Annual Fundraising Garage Sale – August 17, 2024

 The non-profit arm of the Astoria Lions Club will hold its annual fundraising Garage Sale on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 9 am to 3 pm. The sale will be held at 518 McClure Avenue, Astoria. Directional signs (orange arrows with “518” in black) will be posted at key intersections in the area. Given the residential area, we ask visitors to please be respectful of near-by property and parking spaces. Thank you.

Respectfully, we ask Early Birds to hold off until we open at 9 am. Again, thank you.

All receipts are allocated to the Charities’ county-wide, Sight and Hearing Assistance Program. Our program provides sight and hearing assistance for qualifying, no- and low-income residents throughout the county. In most cases, we represent the only and final source of assistance of this type. Be generous if you can – a separate donation jar will be available. Help change someone’s life!

An eyeglass, hearing aids, and cell phone collection box will also be available.
