Cascadia Chamber Opera Chorus Debut - Pint Sized Opera at the Labor Temple
CASCADIA CHAMBER OPERA announces the DEBUT of the Cascadia Chamber Opera CHORUS! Since 2009, Cascadia Chamber Opera (CCO) has been committed to bringing opera to cozy venues and to presenting local artists in an effort to share the engaging art form of opera with everyone, from the opera aficionado to the opera newbie. It has always been important to the company to keep opera up close and personal with its audiences. We are pleased to introduce the brand new Cascadia Chamber Opera Chorus, made up of your next-door neighbors in Astoria, Eugene, Salem, Seaside, and Cannon Beach, real folks who love to sing. The CCO Chorus will have two debut concerts: Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Labor Temple Diner and Bar in Astoria - Pint-sized Opera will feature the CCO Chorus and Conductor Vincent D. Centeno in famous and fun opera choruses with solo artists Deac Guidi, Lisa Nelson, Ellen Kachel-Bewley, and others joining in. There is no cover charge or minimum drink or food order required but please do support the Labor Temple. Pint-sized Opera is our “opera in the bars” initiative to make sure opera is happening wherever people want to relax and have fun. It’s a very informal FREE event with good singing and you can treat yourself to a drink and some food. Donations will be accepted happily.
