Join the Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team (COASST)! COASST participants collect data on beach-cast marine birds and debris on a monthly basis. Data collected helps address important marine conservation issues and protect marine resources. Attendance at both trainings is not required, but welcome! Beach surveys are best conducted in groups of 2 or more—please come with a survey partner in mind or plan to join a team during training. Trainings are free, but we require a refundable deposit for survey materials. Please bring a lunch for yourself or plan to get one nearby!
