Deep Blue Sea: Gyotaku with Duncan Berry

Explore the underwater world off of Oregon’s wild coastline by making beautiful archival prints of Salmon, Rock Fish, Rock Crab, beautiful seaweeds and a special focus on several different species of Octopus. (No previous art experience necessary) This will be an engaging and hands-on 2 1/2 hour master printing workshop with Duncan Berry, where each participant will create a dozen or so prints to take home, while learning in-depth information about the lives and habitats of the creatures themselves. (With a few surprise bonuses thrown in) This workshop will coincide with an exhibit of the same name at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria as well the Fisher Poet gathering where Duncan will be performing.
