The Warrenton Community Library is hosting author Jan Bono at "Library After Dark" on Saturday, October 11 at 4 p.m. Jan will share more about her writing process, read excerpts from her works and answer audience questions. Jan Bono has written a six-book cozy mystery series set on the southwest Washington coast. She’s also published five collections of humorous personal experience, three poetry chapbooks, nine one-act plays, a collection of 12 “murderous” short stories, and one serious novel. She has completed two “Hallmark-type" Christmas screenplays, and is pursuing the ever-present hope of production. Most recently, she published a collection of prose and poetry featuring "Everyday Good Stuff" found in all our lives. Jan is in the top five contributors, world-wide, to Chicken Soup for the Soul, with 57 acceptances, to date. Check out Jan’s website at www.janbonobooks.com for the latest updates. Author talk starts at 4 p.m.; refreshments and mingling at 5 p.m. Special thanks to Gaetano's Market and Deli for sponsoring the food. "Library After Dark" is a monthly PNW author series. This event is free to attend and is hosted by the Friends of Warrenton Community Library.
