North Coast Inclusion Seminar

We are delighted to announce the Second Annual North Coast Inclusion Seminar on Saturday May 6, 2023, from 9a.m. - 2:30p.m. at Clatsop Community College. The event is FREE due to a generous grant from the Northwest Regional Educator Network. This event is a collaboration between Astoria School District and Clatsop Community College. Along with a list of stellar breakout presenters, we are honored to welcome keynote speaker Keith Jones to Astoria. At the end of this message, you will find a bio for Keith as well as a short video. Keynote Keith Jones is the President and CEO of Soul Touchin’ Experiences, LLC.--an organization focused on issues of inclusion and empowerment–which affect Mr. Jones and other persons with and without disabilities. To achieve multicultural, cross-disability education and outreach, he provides services and information for people with disabilities, and tackles issues from immigration, criminal Justice reform, health care, to environmental justice. Mr. Jones is a multi-talented artist and one of the founders of Krip Hop Nation which recently won an Emmy Award for their title song for the Netflix documentary of the Paralympic Games, Rising Phoenix and its critically acclaimed soundtrack. https://youtu.be/fwT0ikKekCc Heather Douglas, M.A.T.
