Salmon fishing along the Columbia River
How do you fish? Whether it’s recreational with rod and reel, occupational with commercial fleets, or utilitarian with traditional methods, there is an immense and diverse history of fishing in the Pacific Northwest. This program introduces three of these methods of salmon fishing, along with their histories and purposes, and discusses the economic and ecological importance of salmon.
