SBA Resource Partner's Roundtable
CEDR and the CCC Small Business Development Center are pleased to host this event!
Martin D. Golden is the District Director for the Portland district of the U.S. Small Business Administration. As District Director, he is responsible for the delivery of all SBA programs and services in 30 of 36 counties in Oregon and four counties in southwest Washington. Before arriving in Portland in 2016, Mr. Golden spent three years as the District Director for the Columbus (OH) district. Prior to the SBA, Mr. Golden was a banker for 20 years, and served in senior positions with leading financial institutions including GE Capital, Wells Fargo, and the Toronto-Dominion Bank.
Come network with our statewide resource partners in a roundtable discussion format. We will have representatives from Business Oregon - Government Contract Assistance Program (GCAP) & SBA along with the following:
-Noah Brockman comes from the SBDC CAT team and leads the Oregon state-wide Small Business Development Center’s Network Capital Access Team, which provides strategic business advising to SBDC clients statewide on access to capital, business planning and financial analysis. He has worked with the PCC SBDC since 2008 where he facilitates Profit Mastery and the Small Business Management II program, and participates as one of OSBDCN’s strategic Grow Oregon Business Advisors.
-Walt Postlewait is the EVP and Chief Lending Officer for Craft3. Postlewait received his Bachelors of Science in Political Science from the University of Oregon. Postlewait is also a graduate of the Northwest Intermediate Banking School, and the manager of the Clatsop CC Small Business Development Center's Small Business Management Program.
-Jim Newton has a background in small business lending, export finance, and risk management. Mr. Newton joined the Office of International Trade at SBA in January of 2015. He currently serves as an International Trade Finance Specialist.
