Join your Liberty Theatre for our second virtual Gala! Beginning at 7 pm on November 13th, our virtual program will include a very special performance from Sergey Antonov (Hermitage Piano Trio) with Israel Nebeker (Blind Pilot), along with short video tributes from Astoria's Mayor Bruce Jones, Astoria's Arts & Movement Center's Jessamyn West and the world premiere of the song "Bringing the Liberty Back" by The Hackles. Our event will conclude around 7:30 pm.
Every day at your Liberty Theatre, we can see how music, dance, and theatre transform lives. Educational outreach is central to our mission as a theater. When the pandemic started and we had to close our doors, we turned on our ghost light to rally our Grand Lady’s spirits to keep her safe.
Since then, we’ve remained committed to our role as a catalyst for the performing arts on the North Oregon Coast and dedicated to our mission to foster a healthier, stronger, and more vibrant community. As one of the larger performing arts organizations in our region, we significantly impact our community’s culture and its economy. To ensure that we continue our vital work, donor support now is critical.
We have a donor challenge! Donate via credit card, or create a pledge from an IRA or donor-advised fund on the Gala viewing page: www.libertyastoria.org/gala. All pledges made by midnight on November 13th will be DOUBLED up to $75,000. This event is free and available to the public.
