Trail's End Gallery October ArtWalk

The Trail’s End Art Association Gallery (TEAA) will open a new show in October featuring the photography of Richard Newman. There will be a reception for the artist on October 3rd, during the Gearhart Art Walk, 2-5 pm. This show will be open Fridays–Sundays, 11am–3 pm from October 2 – 31, 2026. Newman has always loved photographs from all over the world, and he captures both beauty in landscapes as well as the reality of life. He was a photojournalist in high school and college and then was the Assistant Photographer for the City of Cleveland (Ohio) and learned the fine art of photography and darkroom applications. "Photography is not a job for me, it is a passion for capturing memories.” Newman’s fascination with texture in nature and landscapes has won him numerous awards. Over the Last 10 years, at the Annual TEAA judged show, Newman has received the Best of Show Award, 1st place and other awards for his photography on aluminum. His photos of the Bridge of Sighs and the Leaning Tower of Pisa in black and white were sold to ABC television and used on the Criminal Minds television show.
