OSU Extension- Clatsop Paid Summer Internship Position
We’re hiring a summer intern for the Clatsop County Extension Office! This position is open to students enrolled in classes for the fall of 2025, which includes high schools, community colleges, and universities. We’re looking for someone passionate about helping our community thrive by supporting our programming for SNAP-Ed, Master Gardener/Home Horticulture, and Small Farms. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, potentially including some weekends and holidays as scheduled, at a pay rate of $15 per hour.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fun team, build your resume, and learn about Extension and our land grant mission. Specific internship tasks and projects will be tailored to the student’s interest but may include assisting the Master Gardener volunteer program to answer plant diagnostic questions and develop gardening workshops for the public; supporting workshops and on-farm research for small farmers; Food Hero recipe tastings at farmer’s markets and food banks; and working with community partners on family and community health education.
If you’re interested in agriculture, nutrition, public health, or public service, we want to hear from you! Apply at https://beav.es/GCi. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through April 15th.
