Maintenance Worker Opportunity
Lewis and Clark National Historical Park (LEWI) is recruiting for one Facilities Maintenance Worker. LEWI consists of seven sites on both sides of the Columbia River in Washington and Oregon, the park includes 6 buildings and maintains roughly 20 linear miles of trails, parking lots and roadways. While working with the park’s Facilities Maintenance Division, the incumbent will be assisting with buildings, trails, log preservation projects, operations, and more.

Duties for the position include:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Perform minor plumbing, mechanical, and electrical installations and repairs.
- Assist journeyman Electricians with park electrical and mechanical system maintenance.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance to buildings (carpentry, painting, masonry).
- Operate small equipment (forklift, boom lift, dump truck, snowplow, etc.).
- Perform minor repairs or routine maintenance to small equipment and light duty vehicles.
