About Us

Chartered in 1942, the Astoria Lions Club provides eyeglass and hearing aid assistance to qualified residents of Clatsop County working with various social service, healthcare, and county-government organizations. Our primary mission is to act as a ''Knight of the Blind'' thus fulfilling Helen Keller's challenge to the Lions Club International organization in 1925.

Our club works with local service provider partners located in Astoria, Warrenton, and Seaside.

If you know of any qualifying county residents who need assistance, please contact our Sight and Hearing Chair, Ray Montgomery at 971-286-8009, P.O. Box 924, Astoria, OR 97103.
