Bed & Breakfast Inns

About Us

Nestled in a small cove between the Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment State Park. It is the ultimate getaway, with not a neighbor in sight. Each of the four units features a spa tub, and a stunning view of Baker?s Bay.

China Beach Retreat?s main house was originally constructed in 1908 by a Finnish fisherman. Before that, it was at this location that Chinese laborers working in local canneries made their home. A more recent addition is the Audubon Cottage, a two-story luxury getaway featuring a king size bed, 42-inch flat screen HDTV, two-person air-jet, hydrotherapy massage tub and an outdoor two-person soaking tub. The view of the tidelands brings with it an ever-changing array of driftwood. Floor-to-ceiling plate glass windows in the common room of the main house frame the on-going real-life drama of dozens of shorebirds careening their way through the tide flats. Watch the comings and goings of the local fishing fleet, through rain or shine, as they transport their harvest across the bar and mouth of the Columbia River near Astoria, Oregon.

This bed and breakfast retreat in Long Beach, Washington is elegantly and comfortably furnished in antiques. The decor is an eclectic enhancement of the beautiful views to be had from each of the three guestrooms. A full gourmet breakfast is complimentary with a room and is served at the nearby Shelburne Inn, Restaurant & Pub, in Seaview, Washington.
