About Us

Come watch the ships, sunsets, and sea lions at the 148 year old Hanthorn Cannery, located at the foot of 39th Street in Astoria, Oregon, on the mighty Columbia River.

Astoria’s largest and oldest waterfront building, boasting 128,000 square feet features the Fisherman's Suites, a 4 room luxury mini retreat that when combined is more than enough room to sleep 16 people, each with spectacular views above the Columbia River. The Captain Suite, the largest of the three has a Jacuzzi tub, a gas fireplace, full kitchen, dining room, and living room with beautiful Asian mahogany hardwood floor and restored original fir beams.

Pier 39 – Astoria, has executive office rentals and artists lofts also available; you can eat pizza and drink beer at Rogue Ale Public House or sit and relax with an award winning latte at Coffee Girl; a dive compressor at the SCUBA shop is also available for those adventurous explorers. You can even take or ship home some of Oregon's famous smoked salmon, oysters and Dungeness Crab from Ole' Bob's (Hanthorn Crab) live crab tank. In addition, the Vineside has local wines while Menagerie, LuLu's, and the Mess Hall have Oregon and Astoria Gifts to memorize your Goonie Visit.

Located in Astoria's largest waterfront attraction, The Old Bumble Bee Hanthorn Cannery, Pier 39.
